Orphans of Pyrah is a Brand and Cause-related production company championing the concerns and psychological health of teens and young adults. We don’t intend to just TALK about helping our youth, we want to BE about it by getting involved.

In the future, we’ll be partnering with established organizations and movements that focus on empowerment, teen mental health, and mentoring.

“There is no shame in asking for help.”
(You, 2018)

There are places to turn

It’s ok for you to not have ALL the answers, or not know EXACTLY what to do next. Part of creating the Orphans brand is to help young people see that there ARE options and people to talk to if they need help.

These are only a few resources that we’ve come across that might be helpful to you, or a friend.  Please, take the time to determine if any of them are appropriate for your situation, as you may need to find a different one that’s even more specific.

Mental health is an issue that impacts all of our lives. We all deserve the tools, access and resources needed to navigate our lives and cultivate our best selves. ”   (Common, 2018)
“In every day, there are 1440 minutes. That means we have 1440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.
Help others achieve their dreams, and you will achieve yours.” (Les Brown, 1992)

Small ways to make a Big Difference!

Each of us know of at least one young person we can help to achieve their goals. Here at Orphans, we expect everyone to be a positive role model, and we encourage mentoring a youth by volunteering through a formal program.

Being a mentor is a rewarding experience for both the Mentor, and the Mentee.

“‘Mentoring’ describes a relationship between an older, more experienced adult and an unrelated, younger protégé or mentee, characterized by on-going guidance, instruction, and encouragement provided by the adult and aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee.” (Rhodes, 2002)
